John Deere S700 Series combines
John Deere releases four new S700 Combine models (S760, S770, S780 and S790), offering producers what it calls “smart” technology, improved operator comfort and better data. Along with these new models, John Deere also introduces 700C/FC Series Corn Heads, 700D Drapers and a Combine Advisor package to help operators set, optimize and automate their combine.
Active Yield technology on the S700 combines automatically calibrate the mass flow sensor, saving time by eliminating the need for manual calibrations. The cab has a new state-of-the-art CommandCenter and offers a common user experience across John Deere’s larger tractor and self-propelled sprayer lines.
Deere’s 700C/FC Series Corn Heads are available in 6- to 18- row models, in 20-, 22- and 30-inch row widths, with the StalkMaster stalk-chopping option available on all models. Folding corn heads are also available on 8- and 12-row units.
For small grains, Deere offers the 700D Rigid Draper, providing a 20 per cent increase in capacity in tough harvesting conditions over the previous model. The 700D features a top crop auger that’s 50 per cent larger in diameter with heavy-duty drives, high-performance gauge wheels, and a new center section seal kit that reduces center section grain losses by up to 45 per cent in canola.
